Again I'm not sure how public they want this. They were specifically only asking for local Camaro clubs.

In! I hate the current center console. It has an edge where I like to rest my elbow on long drives. Can't find a comfortable spot in the 5th gen without numbing my elbow after a while.

I actually just exchanged e-mails to some people associated with the Camaro today giving them very similar feedback. I also asked for the cupholders to be in a functional location. With my manual shifter, I can't use my cup holders to hold drinks.

Unfortunately it seems a lot of vehicles have ill-placed cupholders...I know Clarkson specifically mentions the placement in the R8 will have you spilling your drink if you go to hit second or fourth. Mine are placed decently - but in order to keep my coffee travel mug upright, I have to shove a bunch of napkins in there because it's too big and doesn't have any type of size compensation/adjusters. The new cool thing is the bottle holders in the doors - but now you lose use of your map pocket with that, and I'd only put a bottle in there, unless you like to spill shit everywhere...

This is a great opportunity for us, as Camaro enthusiasts, to participate and help General Motors let their enthusiasts be heard. Please vote in the poll above so I can give your e-mail addresses to General Motors for an online survey.

As Brian mentioned, this is your chance to possibly influence the design direction of the new Camaro. The more volunteers, the better.

FYI - There were a few exterior and interior designers (including Tom Peters) at the Meet n' Greet this year talking to you guys. They are "car guys" that value your opinion and that helps them with the daunting task of designing the next gen to blow the competition "out of the park."
