  • New Sponsor - Pace Fabricating

Just wanted to make the official announcement that Justin Pace of Pace Fabricating has officially signed up as a sponsor of Michigan Fbody. Please welcome Justin as a sponsor to the site, and try and give them some business! I know if I could put a turbo on mine (financially) I'd do it!

    Thanks for the sponsorship, Justin!

Bout time that cheap ass coughed up the cash! LOL! He took me for a ride in the Firebird with his kit and it's pretty sweet. Should be even better now that he's got the torque convertor issues ironed out. I just need $ to buy a V6 for a beater and turbo it! How about hooking me up with one for my 2.2 Slownoma?!?!

Welcome! Hey Justin. Is there any way we could work out a financing plan? I would buy one of these quicker than a greased eel on NOS then. Saving $2k + is a hard thing to do. Funny thing is, I would feel better doing a turbo kit with forged internals vs. a v8 swap.

There are a few guys with built motors and turbos pushing around 450-500 rwhp that I know of. Not sure on Pace's kits what they are pushing.

                            Hey all

                            Thanks Agin, guys
#'s whys stage 1 120-150 hp gain stage 1 guys should run in the 13's
stage 2 and 3 still working on #'s.
I have learned alot in the past couple of years and one thing that i now is that these 3.8 v6 motors (LOVES THE BOOST) They are pritty much industructable.. Unless you have rilly high miles and run lots of boost at the same time. On ower 1996 firebird the motor is completly stock. never been touched with about 73000 miles on it we started running about 7 psi a very good gain. than we went to 9 psi you can feel a difference, then we went to 12 psi and she is loving it that is when the car was rilly waking up, then i bumped her up to 15 psi and she loved it evan more. than i just put it at 18 psi and she was insain braking the tires loose at 30 mph roll on's very cool for a v6, we went to the track with it and only ran about 11psi and ran a 13.3 with the torque converter blowing halfway down the track. i guess the 18 psi got to the torque converter ha. its rilly hard to find one to hold the power for a v6. The car will have no problem running in the 12's just got to get that 4l60e working right with the stall converter.
