    Ok, I've gotten a lot of questions lately about the birthday thread, so I'm here to clarify it.

    If you want a birthday thread on your birthday, you MUST check your profile and verify that it is set to Display Age & Birthday, and not just Display Age. It's automatic and ONLY does it if you have it set to display your birthday, otherwise vBulletin pretends to not know what date your birthday is (although it automatically updates your age if it is displayed) and won't advertise that your birthday is coming up and won't advertise that it's your birthday.

        hahahaha, i just went into the forum and saw that this thread was at the top. didnt even notice that it was a sticky. guess im gonna hafta check the dates on like all the threads now, this new system has them arranged in a way that im not used to.

        ps, although your smiley suggestion works, i like better
