So what do you guys think?
If you mena the blue letters, it is harder to read than the previous hard to read color.
However, the biggest problem I have with this board is the ungodly amount of time it takes to load a page here. We have aroun 5 T1 lines here at work, and I get network time-outs about half the time when I click on something here, like to get to another page - and it also bumps me off when I am replying (doesn't post my reply. Now it seems slightly worse than a month ago - not sure if that's due to traffic or something new from you. This is the only site where I visit and have that problem. I did have another site with that problem (MFBA) when they switched to the newer, crappier VBULLetin, but they fixed it in 3-4 weeks.

Hmm, see that's something weird about your office or something. Granted I'm farther south than you so it doesn't have to travel all the way up to the UP, but load time for me has always been very very good. Bumping you off when you're replying I'm not sure about, again it only happens to you that I know of, so again it's something to do with your comp that you're using.

We only have 5-7 T1 lines here at work. It's the same whether on any one of the computers here at work, or at home on dial-up, but that's worse, I don't even bother checking in here mostly.
Today, something is different. Now on this site, when I select and click on a link, the whole sceen shifts as I click, and I get sent to a wrong page, which is the page from the link that was under the mouse pointer after the shift. Beginning to su(k.

Heh, I forgot. There is one "other" site with the same problem. projectcamaro. I just got another 15 consequtive operation time outs and again was not able to view anything on their messageboards, only got to their home page.

Just spent 3 minutes watching the index page load. Started timing it when I saw "30 items remaining" for 15 seconds.

But you're probably right. All of the computers I use have the same results when visiting here, but none of them have problems at any other site I visit.

Maybe it's your host. Do you know how to ping? Try doing this at your office:

Go to the Start Menu, click Run, type CMD then press "OK" a DOS/command window will open and type ping mifbody.com. You'll get something like this:

Pinging mifbody.com [70.86.17.226] with 32 bytes of data:

                  Reply from 70.86.17.226: bytes=32 time=45ms TTL=42
                  Reply from 70.86.17.226: bytes=32 time=41ms TTL=42
                  Reply from 70.86.17.226: bytes=32 time=41ms TTL=42
                  Reply from 70.86.17.226: bytes=32 time=41ms TTL=42

                  Ping statistics for 70.86.17.226:
                  Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
                  Minimum = 41ms, Maximum = 45ms, Average = 42ms

Let me know what the average milliseconds is.

Performed this command 5 times, always the above result.

The results are also the same when pinging firehawk.org, mfba.org, yahoo.com however those boards/sites do not provide me with the problems I have at mifbody.

On the plus side, I was able to visit projectcamaro today. The Rice Forum visit was well worth it.

Hrm. Your company might block the echo back command... all the ones that said request timed out, were you still able to view those sites? Kinda sucks because a ping is a great command to find out if your computer is communicating with the other site, so if the company you work for blocked the echo back command (which is actually quite anal...) then it ruins the simplicity of narrowing down the issue.

Good to see you're back, Josh. Nice new car, too. I have to admit, I've never liked those rims though... they look photoshopped in every picture I've ever seen them on.

you might like them a little better in person. This car will only look good with 18's. Nothing more nothing less. Glad to be back, and still with a Chevy.

Yep, I was able to view all those sites.
I highly suspect that those anal IT clowns are anal enough that they don't want anybody narrowing down their anal issues. We ping on our equipment, but all our equipment works, and all the computers we work on ping fine, but they don't run on micro$haft when they work. Our web PCs used to work very well, too, but then the higher-ups decided they needed the PC to not work well anymore, so they put the anal IT guys in charge, so very little works. However, since mifbody works equally poorly here or at home, I don't consider it to be a problem on my end of things.
