I know I always write these long posts around the holidays about reflecting on the holidays and what not. This time around, I'm going to reflect on the past year in regards to MiFbody.
While recapping a year's worth of milestones, the two milestones that come to mind first and foremost are the Spring M&G at Kensington and the Summer M&G in the Grand Rapids area. This year's Spring Meet & Greet was bigger and better. I'm still amazed every single day when I think about how many people show up, how many great responses I hear about the Meet & Greet, and all of you guys that get so excited for our humble little show. It really makes me proud to hear everyone's enthusiasm for it, and makes me want to work harder every year to pull off a truly great show for all of us to have fun! The Summer M&G - I can't forget those of you who helped pull off a GREAT time rockin' on the West Side this year - was an absolute blast and it was a pleasure to be able to drive across the state and participate in an MiFbody event that I didn't have to organize!
There's too many to name, you know who you are, but your efforts in organizing the Summer M&G can't be appreciated enough, and I only hope you guys felt as great after the Summer M&G as I do after the Spring M&G.
This year, we've had over 550 registrations in 2008 alone - just passing 1500 members. For a state-wide website specific to only two vehicle models, I find this to be a great amount of registrations! Each year, we keep growing, but each year we stay very close-knit and like one big family. In the middle of 2008, we went from a moderately nice server to a new (4x more powerful) server and we also went to a whole new look! I think we're really in the right direction, and the staff and sponsors that we have here on MiFbody I think will truly help to lead us into the future. The moderators here are a pleasure to have on hand - always helpful in any way they can - and the admins are a huge relief for me on a day-to-day basis.
Last, but certainly not least (so much for keeping this short), I really want to take the time to thank everyone on here for your participation - attending events, getting the word out about our site, referring people here, and whoring it up in the threads. Since I try to label us as an association and not a club, the dedication that everyone has to making this site what it is has been absolutely overwhelming and I honestly can say that the best gift for Christmas is to be a part of this website and have such a great extended family with all of you.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Drive safe, don't drink and drive, arrive alive, keep your pets spayed and neutered, and have some fun!
