Robin Drama
Ok guys.
Here's the deal. I'm going to fill everyone in on the story in an UNBIASED fashion. There were verbal exchanges between Robin and one of the other members on the site in person and via e-mail. The contents of the e-mail made Tony [MIT/A'96] upset to the point that he wanted to take a break from things for a little bit. Robin got mad and started cussing the other two parties involved in this drama to the point that Robin had to be banned from the site for 30 days.
Since then, I've received an outpouring of private messages from at least 5 different people telling me their side of the story in this drama. Let me make it clear: I do not care what goes on with members off the site. But this is where the problem occurs... I do care what goes on with members ON the site.
I've also received private messages a few times now from parties either directly involved in the situation or parties that are involved due to their association with said parties. I've seen logs of private messages going back with semi-personal threats, name calling, bickering, etc.
Moving forward, starting at 2:30pm today, if any person sends a private message about this Robin drama bullshit to any of the parties involved, if the person who receives the private message forwards it to me and I validate that it is a legitimate private message, the sender of the private message is banned for 30 days. If anyone discusses the Robin bullshit in the shoutbox, the person who started the conversation on the Robin bullshit will be banned for 30 days. If I see any mention of Robin on the site other than this thread and the Robin's issue thread, I'll actually speculate whether or not that person needs to be banned for 30 days. If I see anyone trying to poke any sleeping tigers into reacting on the Robin bullshit, I'll likewise speculate banning that person for 30 days. Give it a rest and grow up about it. I don't give a shit about the drama queens that can't let something die and have to keep going back and forth. ALL PARTIES INVOLVED IN THIS DRAMA ARE JUST AS GUILTY BECAUSE NEITHER SIDE WILL LET IT DIE! So, I'll help you all let it die. Shut up about it, move on, grow up, and get a life.
