  • Member Garage now Picture Albums!

    Hey guys,

As I've already told some of you already, the Member Garage is no more. But, I truly feel we've gotten rid of it for something better -- Member Albums! It is otally integrated with user profiles and more, once I start taking advantage of what we can do with it. Everyone's posts now have a link in their user info straight to their album (click the link to the left of my post in my user info) and you can see my album.

Do you mean ordering the pics? I'm not entirely sure if that's possible, but I'll look into it.

Still not letting me upload any other pics. Even trying 1 at a time. Just times out.

Maybe it doesn't like you Mark? Either yell at it more or less, depending on what type of image uploader it is (whether you will befriend it by being more hostile, thus showing your superiority, or by being more friendly, showing it that you are a good human being).

What size are the images, Mark? I've noticed anything over 1mb seems to time out.

If this is ok with you brian...

If your images are larger then 1mb i'll most likely time out...use this to resize images if you don't have photoshop or anything:

                      FOR WINDOWS ONLY

Here we go...first follow this link: http://www.myrhoto.com/downloads/vso_image_resizer2_setup.exe

It's a image resizing program. It's real easy to figure out and use. Here instructions how to use it!

                      1. Install the Program
                      2. Add a Icon on your desktop.
                      3. Open the program, ignore the pop up where it tells you that you can buy the commercial. Just hit continue.
                      4. It'll open a window where you can select a photo OR multiple photos. So you go the the folder of pictures you want and select the photos you would like to resize. To select more that one, click one, then hold down shift and click another file to select it at the same time.

                      5. After you select the files hit open, then under "Profiles" select 1024 x 768 (this is a good recommended size for uploading pictures to myrhoto.com, or you can go smaller!

                      6. Under "Action" Select "Create Copies" (so you don't overwrite your original file which is the big size. Which you may want to keep."
                      7. Then Under Destination select where you want to save your new resized photos. You can create a new folder on your desktop called "resized" or something like that.

                      8. Hit "OK" at the bottom and boom your files will start processing, resize and save in the folder you specified! Then your done!

Hopefully within the next week I'll have it fixed so it won't time out.
