All,
Effective immediately, our three Global Moderators [81DaytonaPaceCar, Orange Terror, and WMCC Gary] have been promoted to Administrators.
While this may seem like a huge difference, I wanted to create a simple explanation of what's going on. Basically, a lot of emails come in from Yahoo users who do not receive their verification emails when they register. All feedback and registration problems reported using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the site gets reported to Super Moderators and above.
Unfortunately, due to permissions issues they were unable to do anything to correct the situation. Having changed their status to Administrator, I'm now able to give them access to *ONLY* modifying User settings and permissions. This lets them fix these issues.
With the restructuring of the Super Moderators to Administrator status, they will have all the same abilities and access, while only gaining the new responsibility of correcting User permissions and usergroup issues.
Thanks,
Brian
