Like I said in the actual rules page, guys, don't get over sensitive on the fact that we have rules for people to agree to. Simply put, if someone goes way out of line on the forum, aside from common sense, I have no actual written/typed rules to fall back on saying "You did this, this, and this and that's why we're doing a temp ban for 2 days." It's simply establishing something to fall back on when someone gets out of line. Will the joking and what not be handled like a Nazi regime? Of course not. We're not here to stiffle social conversations. We're here to make sure that no one gets to the point on here that they feel like they're constantly being picked on or bashed and we're also here to make sure that things run smooth.

In my opinion, I think it's good to have a certain set of rules that folks have to abide by. Although I think it is sad that it is needed. Since the site is started by Brian and entrusted to those who moderate it, it doesn't make sense to me that there needs to be a set of rules that the mods have to refere to to ban someone. This is not a government, like a private business, it can reserve to right to refuse service. Don't get me wrong, I'm not for the whole big brother thing. It's just an observation and rather disappointed that the common sense factor seems to be slipping away like any growing, bigger society...
