So the RAM is what is causing the slow down?

I would have thought that it would have been more related to the pipe going into the server or something throttleing back on certain connections. Since not everyone is affected by the slow down.

I have never really noticed any slowness at home or at work. I just thought that it was odd that previously we were running at ~57% with only 15-19 users & guests online.

My opinion its a combination of properly tuning the server and ram. Fedora is a memory hungry beast. If you notice service load seems to speak indicating to me the above combination of things that need be addressed.

Wasnt on allot yesterday but I noticed an improvement lastnight. Dont know if it was something done on the server end or just not allot online last night. Wasnt paying that close attention.

You know Brian, given all the time and money you have to pay for the offsite server. Wouldn't it Be cheaper in the long run just to build a server computer? Im kinda guessing here because I dont know much about networking. But I mean Im sure we could all chip in and help out.

I've never looked at the cost of a T1 line to my house, but I have a feeling the T1 or T3 line would cost much more than the server.
