MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmidunno...
The jury is still out in my humble estimation.
Personally, I'm taking the wait and see approach.
I realize this is a concept vehicle. But, but, it's just to damn
boxy for my tastes as it now stands.
Cat.

I want 2 of them, great looking to me. A huge improvement over the car that had a petition out to stop it's production (the 4th gen was considered the ugliest design when it came out)

The early 4th gen was not regarded as the ugliest design, but the 98+ wouldn't be surprising if it was regarded as the ugliest design because it was only a facelift to prolong the death, they knew the fbody was dead but the insiders at GM pushed enough to get a facelift for a few more years. In any case, 93-97 is my second favorite FBody years, agreeing with Chad there about 1st gens being my #1 favorite.- Brian Meissen

the 93-97 style is my favorite only because I own one. I would still love to have a 1st gen though. With a V8, of course. My old neighbor has a 68 with a V6, and it kind of defeats the purpose, ya know!?Nick H.

Concept Camaro = AWESOME
I went to the NAIAS this last Tuesday for the Concept Camaro. After 45 minutes of checking it out and listening to the speaker several times I finally told my wife we could head home.
I just hope GM makes this car.
Also, the speaker said to go to chevrolet.com and use the 'contact us' link to e-mail GM about our thoughts on the Camaro to help them determine public opinion. I sent mine on Tuesday and they sent a reply with my car info and a free oil change thanking me for my response to the car.
In a nutshell the Camaro concept is AWESOME.

it was considered the ugliest when introduced, people were calling for jobs. I still say there is a reason the average owner of a 4th gen is under 25, when tehy get older they realize it's an ugly heavy carOriginally posted by meissenThe early 4th gen was not regarded as the ugliest design, but the 98+ wouldn't be surprising if it was regarded as the ugliest design because it was only a facelift to prolong the death, they knew the fbody was dead but the insiders at GM pushed enough to get a facelift for a few more years. My favorite is the 1st Gen. But the 4th gen comes next. I dont care for the front ends on the 99-02's they seem too be a little over the top. Thats what I like about mine. Simple, Elegant, Nice Curves. Looks like a fighter jet plus it has an hourglass figure like my gf. Yay! 4th Gen.

I am 38 and the 4th gen IMO is the best looking F-Body and the best performing. The 1st being opinion and the latter being fact.

Agreed. I didn't care for the 98-02 when they first came out, but they grew on me and now I own one I love it. For me the 93-97 is to pointy. But that's just my opinion and preference. I do believe if you lined up a stock first gen z28 with a stock 4th gen z28 you would find that not only is the 4th gen faster at the track, its better in the twisties on the road too.Originally posted by ActionJackI am 38 and the 4th gen IMO is the best looking F-Body and the best performing.
