  • Ride of the Month Opinions

    Alright guys,

Now that December's Ride of the Month has passed -- how do you guys think it went? There's some ideas that I have that I'd like to do, but I'm realizing it's making it pretty complicated by segregating Camaro and Firebirds. What do you guys think? Go back to only one a month?

    Reason I ask,
I thought it would be cool to make a new banner which would have basically 12 circular spotlights and each month the Ride of the Month would be placed in the corresponding month's spotlight. So, at the end of the year, all 12 would be filled on the banner. Doing this for Camaro and Pontiacs is hard, though, because that would mean 24 of them.

But, I don't have to do that banner idea, either. I just want some input guys. Continue doing Camaro and Firebird, go back to only one per month, what do you guys think? I wanted to atleast try it -- which we did for December -- so now that we've tried it let's discuss.

i like the idea of having the two winner at the top for that month and then maybe you could have something at the bottom of all the winners.

It was a lot nicer seeing one of each, but Im unsure of how much work goes into it. So Ill say both I guess. It does give more people the option of being winner.

How about alternating months? Camaros one month, then camaros the next and so on!

Hmm, that's a nice idea too. We could do it as Firebirds 6 months of the year, Camaros 6 months of the year... alternating... ok, let me add that to the poll.. MattODoom or Turbocreeper, if you want to change your vote let me know.

i think firebirds should be first then camaros. i like the 2 a month thing but i like it to be more of a special thing. so 1 a month. 1 firebird one month then 1 camaro then maybe one of each. ( that might be to complicating though ) but i would rather it not be 2 a month.

1995 TA Sold. i sure do miss it though.

the 2 a month was too confusing. I understand why you did 2 a month, but lets just keep it with 1 then it's a little more "rewarding" so to speak

I like one Camaro and one Firebird each month. Eliminates the Camaro and Firebird bashing, and favoritism comments.
