i think it would be really cool if we had a member map so i could see how many people on this site are actually around me and see if i can find a central location where everyone drives relitivly the same distance to get somewhere for west siders

I had planned to do something like this at some point but the problem that I've been having with getting it set up is I don't know programming that well and I need to program a way for the thumbtack to show multiple people in the same zip code. For example, right now the thumbtacks overlap so if there's 5 people in the same zip code, you'll only see one thumbtack because they're stacked on top of eachother.

We could just make up a list comprising the members screen name, real name, and address, voluntarily of course. Than, if someone needs a hand, they can call or email the members in there area and get something together. Maybe put a limit on who can see it, either by post count or by a 1 year membership requirement. Eric L

If it's stacked, just have it display a number, and then if you roll over it, it'll give you a list.

I think it would be a pretty cool feature. Although I know the 4 people from Ortonville. Me, ThreeHonks, ITSSLWR, and the one other guy. Can't remember his SN but he drives a 98+ red WS6 on juice.

There's a few from White Lake, mostly thirdgens though. Up here in Big Rapids it's pretty much just me and Nick now.
