  • rearrange forums?

Just an idea. I've noticed on other forums I hang out on, that the admin moved the For Sale section to the top. It is generally the biggest draw for viewing.

Secondly, because The Pit forum is the most posted (used), could that (section) be moved towards the top?

    thanks for considering

I never go through the list of forums, I always just look at the recent post list at the top cuz I am on so often and can still see the old posts with the new posts on the list.

well i too go on alotta sites, and i have helped with what is now www.mustangevolution.com (when i liked mustangs) lol, and they just hit 3000 members in the 2 and a half years the site has been around. i think just the opposite, it is good to keep the lounge and forsale sections down lower, the other forums dont get much action as it is, this would enable people to scroll down and see other forums such as tech or appearance or whatever before the lounge or forsale section. However im not gonna lie, it really doesnt matter to me on this site since i just look at recent posts anyway lol

For me, the forum is structured kinda like Ben's describing, the Pit and the for Sale are towards the bottom so you actually gotta look at the site rather than just see the most wanted at the top and not seeing the other forums available. Plus, the top 15 / top 50 (if you click "Top 15" it expands to Top 50) gets the biggest workout.

i say its perfect now... most forums have the for sale at the bottom... no reason to give out free add space.. and with the setup now you can tell what the top post are so unless you only pop on ever week or two the top 50 usually will get you through the recent post... although we are getting bigger fast... when i popped on a year ago there was maybe 50 people on here now its just nuts its hard to keep up with the new memebers...
i think its great right now but if we keep getting bigger might need to do changes later
