  • What's wrong with the site?!

I've been trying to view page 17 of my "I'm leaving in a few weeks. . . " thread, and while the URL is correct, and should show page 17 of the thread, page 16 is all I'm getting to. . . I tried clicking the link on the main page, as well as clicking the link to page 17 within the thread, it just takes me to page 16.

Also, I've been getting error messages when trying to get to the site, so I think we may have a little problem with the server. . .

Meh, I've been using the site for 30 minutes now and have not noticed one issue. I had to reboot the server around 10:30-11ish. Haven't had any issues since then.

I couldn't either B. I saw that you wrote the response to Nicks post, and clicked on view new posts, but it would just take me to page 16. Then I viewed your recent posts, and saw it, but when I clicked on the post to take me to the thread, and it took me to 16 again. JUST now it let me view.

I didn't get to see his post until after I posted in the thread, then it took me to my post on page 17.

There might be an issue here, I was just posting up the problems I was having. Might run a virus scan, just to be safe. . .

Virus scan wouldn't have anything to do with what's going on with clicking a link and not getting where you thought. Unfortunately I can't duplicate what you're talking about. What Kyle is describing is entirely different - it was taking him to page 16 because the site didn't know what was a "new post" anymore. More than likely, to fix what Kyle was talking about, you'd just have to go to Quick Links and click "Mark Forums Read"

It fixed itself now, I don't really know what was going on.I was in the viewed unread posts page, and it showed that you were the last poster on Nick's thread, but I couldn't get there. After Nick posted though, I could see it.

I was suggesting that you check the site for viruses. . . I know my system isn't messed up, it's on the server's end. lol

But again, a virus has nothing to do with clicking a link and not getting to the destination you had intended.

Okay, I'm not a computer nerd like SOME people are. . . lol j/k I just thought it could be a problem with the site, it seems to be a minor glitch, since I haven't seen any similar problems since then.
