  • Site is Acting Wierd. . .

B, just thought I'd post this up to let you know what I've noticed going on with the site lately, and wanted to see if anyone else is having the same problems.

    1. When I try to quote a post by clicking the "Quote" button under said post, vbulletin is leaving out the first set of quote tags, and just copying the post text and the [/quote] tags into the reply box. It has happened to me twice today alone, and it seems to happen rather spontaneously.

    2. The Bot (mini-meissen) made 3 seperate but identical threads for jadair's birthday announcement. I deleted two of them, but it is a sign that something may be causing issues with the site.

I'm running Windows XP Professional on a Pentium 4-equipped Toshiba Satellite notebook computer with plenty of HD space and at least a gig of ram, and my Internet Browser is Mozilla Firefox 5.0

I noticed you guys messing up the quote in that one thread and made a comment about it. I figured you guys were just messing it up -- I've never encountered a problem with the quotes.

Like I said, it happens randomly. It only seemed to happen in that one thread, but it happened several times and I was unable to get it to work right.

I have issues where I can't use the X2 smiley in certain threads...makes the angry face and a 2 instead of the X2.

Like this (minus the space): :x 2: (Except it does it with a capital X)

I think more so the problem was with the FIRST poster that screwed up the quote, and then every subsequent quote after that had too many [/quote] which screwed up the other quotes.
