  • Garage Sorting

I got suggestion you might want to think about since the site is growing. A way to sort the garages by year or even generation would be nice. I mean right now it's pretty easy to do with the garage list being fairly small. But with the site growing it could be useful. Just putting it out there.

That would be nice. . . If I could start my own garage, I would, but all of my pics are too high-res to be hosted here, and I already have them on Cardomain, so why waste more space? lol Great suggestion, I would like to have some more ease of use in the Garage area of the site, I believe it is one part of the site that doesn't really get all that much attention.

i always check out the "garages" when i first sign on to the site and see new pic's at the top.....nick, just open your pic's in PAINT or something and shrink them. then add them to your garage!..that's what i do...cause just about any digital camera takes pic's that are way bigger than you will ever need

Yeah I like this idea. It could be like cardomain. It would be easier to spot exterior mods from a gallery pic. So if you were considering doing something you can look at it first and ask the person the inside scoop! Yeah Nick just open em in paint and strech / skew them to your hearts content! Something to look into B!

I like the idea, only down side is I don't know anything when it comes to PHP programming, and it'd require editing the core files of the garage module. I'll look into it, though.

Woul it work to just tack on title tags for a search to find, like bird, 89, gta, spoiler, leds, rims, blinker fluid.
If you specified a list of terms, everybody would be abl;e to use the same category term.

otherwise, easier to change the gallery now than when it's HUGE.

The ideal thing to do would be to wait for the maker of the Garage to make it sorted in the next version.

means that the version of the garage we have doesn't allow for sorting yet. The makers of the software need to create the sorting function yet.

Yeah. They're always bringing out new versions and stuff, so when they do I'll just have to update the Garage module on our website, which won't be any problem with all the garages we already have.

Well, I think we have a plan! It's not going to be all ghetto and crap where it will only sort by username or something, is it? Let us know when you update the garage module!
