Not trying to pawn it onto something else, but if you're downloading at the same time that you try to load sites, they're definitely going to load slower because you're using a percentage of bandwidth for downloading.

I honestly don't know what's going on. I haven't seen any slow downs.

for me its more intermitant - it can be running along fine then when i go to post something it just stops - i wind up with alot of double posts cause the system does seem to be responding

I'm wondering if someone is doing something that might slow down the server. For example, I've noticed that browsing the shoutbox archive is REALLY intensive on the server.
