Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I have Dealer Service Manual set for 1998 Camaro/Firebird. These are in great shape hardly used, sold my car so have no use for these. Asking $80.00 plus shipping, prefer buyer pickup as books are heavy. This has 1 book dedicated to LS1 engine, 1 book for body, 1 book electrical and 1 book for updates. If you own a 98 or 99 lots of info besides how to do everything. Call or text me 586-944-7653 email larry.meissen@yahoo.com
These are $200 and up if you buy them new from GM through their supplier, Helm Inc., so this is a good deal. I don't know what it is about the 2002 edition, but those are closer to $250-350 a set.
Free bump!

Yep, back then, many of the GM manuals would be printed as Preliminary or Second Edition. There were any number of reasons...early production with a few late or running changes, a need to get the book out early (for legal reasons...can't sell cars until the dealers are in possession of service info.), later validation efforts, software updates, etc.
GM ESI (Electronic Service Information) resolved the need for this. in most cases.
