Hello From Grand Rapids (Alto, Near Kentwood / Cascade Area)

Hey,

Im Jason 28 from Alto MI, I have not had allot of time to look for other FBody owners around the MI and GR area however it looks like I finally found the perfrect website! I currently have a 98 Trans Am WS6 with a custom cam, Pace Setter Long Tubes, K&N Filter, Carbon Fiber Lid, 160 Degree Stat, After Market Push Rods & Valve Springs, Custom Tune (HP Tuners), Flowmaster, Y Pipe, Electric Cut Out, AIR Mod, Yank 3600 RPM Stall, Aftermarket Tranny Cooler.

I am hopefully going to order some 18" Chrome Z06 wheels and MT Drag Radials today. This will most likely be the only mod for this summer unless I happen to destroy the 10 bolt!

Hopefully I will be able to find some fellow FBody owners in the GR area to meet up with some time. I may also be interested in the Kensington Meet & Greet however I will be getting home from a week in London on the Friday before so we will have to see how every thing goes.

Hey Jason, glad to see ya posted up. I didn't realize Alto was in the GR area, you'd have a large group to cruise in with if you go to the M&G. Also, I know the "West Side" has a weekly get together at the parking lot across from Berger Chevrolet on Wednesdays, the Dorr Dairy Ranch on Thursdays, and some other cool shows throughout the week.

Thanks for all the replies so far! It seems like thier are allot of FBody owners in the GR Area. This looks like it could work out rather well, I am actually some what new to the west side of michigan. I actually grew up in Pinckney MI near the Brighton / Howell area however I moved to the GR area a couple of years ago and with working in Lansing I have not had a whole lot of time to get out and meet anyone from the area. Definitly looking forward to the oportunites. Is the Berger meeting place off of 28th street near woodland mall? Let me know when anybody gets a chance, I will also post some pictures on here once I figure out how.

Welcome to the site Jason. I live in Kentwood right behind Woodland Mall off 28th st. The meeting site is right across the st. from Berger in the old Frank's Nursery parking lot. I haven't been there this year yet, but hope to in the near future. The best way to meet new people is come out to one of these get-togethers and show us your car and meet us. Cool group of people. I have made a lot of friends since joining the Western Michigan Camaro Club a number of years ago. I'm formerly from Saginaw Mi.
