The Jetta sounds real familiar. It's probably the one I'm thinking of.

As for the cracks at the Teg...well I guess I can't say I wouldn't see 'em coming from an fbody forum I don't take stuff like that personally though. I bought it because it was relatively quick, great on gas (as long as you weren't in the upper RPM's all day) fun to drive, and held it's value. I never planned to keep it for forever--in the back of my mind I always saw the teg as the car that would "hold me over" until I could afford a 99+ Mustang GT. That plan has obviously changed though. It ran a 15.32@92.8 with a shitty 2.5 60' on bald yokohama's. With better tires/launch it would have hit 14's easily, and other than intake/exhaust it was stock.

I'm still on the hunt for an LS1 though...the wait is killing me though...haha

lol, Gary, i had to say somethin bout it....after all, it was my turn to make fun of the ricer haha....ive been lookin at a couple fastbacks for a project, my dad had a '68 Mustang Fastback, he loved the car but he traded it for a '67 Le Mans...that Le Mans would be cool to find aswell....
It's easier to make a 3rd gen faster than to make a 4th gen look good

Hey welcome to the site! There are a lot of cars for sale around here, if not I see a ton of them for sale at a Chevy dealer the other day here in Metro Detroit, from WS6s to SS's. Just depends on how much you want to spend. Good luck with your search. Again, welcome.
