  • Hello from the Capitol City

    Hi all, nice site!

Wondering if anyone has ever seen or know anything about this car? Its an 84 Firebird Convertible from GA-SC areas. Originally a Custom International Coach Convertible Conversion Car?? Redone in about 2003 maybe with a new top, interior, and paint?? It's looking like this will be my 1st f-body. It's a 2.8 but if it ever fails I have a brother with chevy wrenching running through his veins... He has said he would build his little sister an f-body in a heart~beat! He has a 68 camaro and an 86 Iroc-z currently in his shop. Oh btw he is blind...

    Anyhow..the car...

What do you think about it? Thank you!

What if the 2.8 just keeps going, and going, and going? Well... gas is almost $3 a gallon. Wonder what the 2.8 will get mpg wise? See there is always a positive to find in every negative... maybe?

I had an 84 with a 2.8L, that sucked, so I am a bit bias.
The car looks great, and if you are happy with the performance then that is all that should really matter.

Sweet looking clean ride. Welcome to the site. I guess it depends on what you will use it for. Is this a DD? If so then the 2.8 will definitely help with fuel costs. If it's just an occasional weekend evening car then I say yank that 2.8 out now!!!!

                Hello, and

                My name is David.

Don't let them get you down about the 2.8l v6. You more that likely get way better gas mileage.

and That's all you need to know!

I'm Tom and I've always got a few projects going on. Currently an '85 TA with an engine swap/resto and Kolin's (TastyZL1) 93 TA with a cam swap.

Oh, the car is pretty sweet! If the 2.8 is fun enough for you then keep it. I'd replace that 2tone steering wheel though. Either a stocker or all black.

welcome to the site, Eva! Never seen the car myself, but sounds like a nice ride -- and it sounds like your brother has some nice cars too!

Well I drove the car 750 miles from South Carolina to Michigan. What a blast, the weather was nice, I had the top down from Kentuky to Ohio.
