  • hello out there.

whats up ladies and gentlemen. name is chris. just poppin in here to say hi. about to go put some brakes on my sisters car but Im lazy. so here I am.
about me. Im 32.5 years old, work as a mechanic at sellers pontiac/gmc/buick in farmington hills. goin on 11yrs there. also work out of my garage when I have time. all I do at home is high performance stuff. all 4 gen Fbody's so far. so if you need some work for cheap, hit me up. but I can def. say Im not the speediest installer. if its a big job like heads/cam it'll take a few weeks cause I work 50 hours at my day job, and my wife likes to keep me locked up. no, reality is I spend too much time .
other things about me, I love UFC and all things fighting, love playing golf, love college football (GO BLUE!!!!!), I play hockey (not very good though, Im old and decrepid) and my fav. movie's are scar face and old school. I could watch those movies every week.

this is prolly something wrong with my computer, but HOW COME EVERYTIME I GO TO A DIFF. PAGE I HAVE TO REENTER MY USERNAME AND PASSWORD?

    sorry.

anyways, cars in sig. eventualy I'll upload my avatar, but Id rather have a cool pic in my sig. where can I go to resize a pic to fit there? none of the free hosting sites Ive found resize to 100x500. only avatar size.

I'll post my timeslip later, but best I got in its form last year was a 11.75 at 113.9mph on a 1.56 sixty. I was very happy with that. esp. since that night was my first time ever in the 11's too.

this year, the a/c compressor will go back on, front sway bar is already on, will put keep the 17" budnik's on. and I was forced to reinstall the orig. rear axle since the rear took a beating at the track last fall. I went to drive it last weekend, and 3 teeth decided they would rather not stay connected to the ring gear. so 3:42 it is.

sadly, much as I love this car, Im forced to sell it this year so it'll be listed pretty soon. got some upcomeing major expenses. and with the economy around here, Im not exactly making a killing at work either. dont cry for me though, I'll be ok. not in financial trouble, just hard to justify keeping the camaro at this point. besides, I got my dads car to play with too, and I love working on cars just as much as I like driving them.

I still have my Iroc, but it'll prolly be turned into full drag car, and maybe even not see the street again. or atleast not with all the amenities a street car usually has. its rust free, but its no show car, thats for sure. I bought that car rolling chassis for $200, sold the rear axle for $150, rims/tires $75, and sold some other stuff before I started putting it together. now its apart again, it needs a paint job as the next phase in the build, but I'll prolly do a home job or maaco if Im lucky. but you can bet I'll strip out everything I can, except the heat (I think), carpet, and front seats to make it light as possible. got a carbed 355 for that and a bullet proof th400. it needs paint/cage/d.shaft/carb/ and last but not least TIME.

    thats all for now folks.

I thought about the "trusted" list thing. I'll try that.

keego ridah, I live on elizabeth lake road near lochaven. I know I recognize your screen name from somewhere. LS1tech maybe? but my memory sucks balls. I hate it.

thanks for saying hi everyone. I'll post some pics. would you believe, I only have a few digital pics of the iroc? I didnt have a digi camera back when I was driving the car. Im storing the car out in tecumseh, about 90miles away. I went out last night and that was the first time Id seen the car in a LONG time. doin good, just dusty as hell. stored in my buddies brothers garage on a farm.

here's my Iroc. its an 86. as you can see the paint sucks. but its straight, rust free (98%, very little on the floor pans). one day I'll play with it again.

and here's my 95 in street trim. and the way it is once again.

drag style. this is how it was most of the last 2 years.

and here's my dads 02 MECHAM TA #3. I just finished heads/cam install and we did a ton of apperance mods over the winter too. dyno tuned by sean at CARS and got 417 RWHP and 375 RWTQ on a mustang dyno. Im happy. we'll be racing this car alot this year, or until the rear gears give out atleast.

So did that little Sonoma smoke you? That damn thing is a sleeper! V8 swap with like 150 shot of nitrous. He ran I believe a high 10 with it at Martin a couple years ago when I saw him.
