Sounds interesting, however i am will to be tthe price of all that stuff that you dont get your car running how you want it for under 1500, i honestly bet you cant do it for under 2500. Not to be ragging or anything, but why skimp and get cheap and used parts on one of the most new critical parts of your car, if you buy cheap parts, you will usually get cheap results, a turbo siezes so you have to buy another, something breaks and gets shot into your motor, BOV breaks and stresses the motor, WG messes up and your boost skyrockets and blows the motor. Not to mention you forgot fuel upgrades needed, you need at the minimum 42 lb injectors and a bigger fuel pump... also how are you going to monitor anything? Need a fuel pressure guage and boost guage is nice too so you know how much your running. Not to mention oil feed and drain lines, silicone for your cold pipes, clamps for the silicone, and i kid you not i spend over $50 just in nuts bolts and washers. As for pricing on welding, if you plan to have someone weld it for you, a guy "hooked me up" simply shortening a piece of 3" aluminumized steel and re-welding for $30, imagine and entire kit! Also the vacuum line you need to run, and fittings for the vacuum stuff and oil lines. The oil drain fittings off my turbos were $30 a piece and hydraulic hose lines for oil arent cheap, especially after getting all the fittings on them. Im not trying to be a dick but honestly, they is MUCH more your missing and it would suck to have your car all torn apart and start the build and end up not having enough to finish it and get it running right. Hope this helps.

I spent a little more than i expected but i made sure i had the extra funds in case it did cost more, because everyone was saying to always have so much extra and there weren't lying, haha. Honestly, its more than you expect like Jeff said, i'm talking from personal experience however it will be worth it in the end for sure!

Hey guys just gettingin from work. Well i am gald people have made post on my intro.lol.

Well if u notice i did not add any motor upgrades or the price of that. Also I did not add drivetrain, or rear end. I only said to build the turbo kit. bot upgrade the motor.

The turbo I plan to use is a stock replacement for semi turcks and retails for $1200 MSRP( not cheap) but Their is a guy that buys them in Bolck so he can sell them at a great price. He is well know on turbo mustang.com.

Aslo to up grade the turbo means to bolt on a bigger S400 turbo ( 80mm, 91mm, and etc. This is a t6 flange.

My set up has been done many of times and worked well. My Tubing is stanless steal ( not cheap) but I would not mind going mild steal if i can get them coated. I am geting help with the welding like Best freind. Their is a guy on turbomustangs that sell turbo kits for $2100 with a Garrett t76 turbo.

Also The only cheap part about my kit is the WG and BOV . With ebay you can find nice things for a good price. like i just sold my Lt4 heads(new and ( used)intake for $1700 . Great deal!!

if one does not take the time to shop around thats on them. Aslo to be ture I am sure i will be out of $5k when i am done with my upgrade motor , trans, etc. But every thing will make 800 RWHP .

                        lol

problem #1 TT two turbos to problems:

                        more parts.

more space tp make under the hood

                        more time

                        MORE money

                        problem #2 :

With 2 turbo turbos = 2 power adders

If he ever wants to run on a track their is less classes he can run.

                        problem # 3:

                        tuning his set up.

having both turbos making = bost.

If people like buying a viper then go a head but we all know a Z06 is faster, cheaper, and well made.

We guys till next time. ttyl

Im making no refrence to my set up here, just basically that FI is not cheap, sure 2 is more money, fitment, etc... but it still makes the same boost, tuning is no different than a single turbo as it is still only boost entering the engine. Also my car is not a race car, it's a fun street car, so my set up fits that and will make boost very quick for the street. I just reccommend you set aside some extra cash for other stuff that pops up, this is from personal experience. Also add the oil feed (-4an) and oil drain (-10an) lines to your list and the necessary fittings. Not sure where an LT1 would get the oil supply from (LS1 is right above oil filter and you drill out the little "spout" and you should return to the pan. Also dont forget silicone for your cold side piping, and some clamps for it (T-bolt). If your having someone else weld for you, to save cash, a mild or aluminized steel would be best as stainless is much harder to weld and they would probably charge you quite a bit more to do the kit. Or another option would maybe be stainless the hot side and coated mild steel on cold side. Also set aside some for an airfilter for the turbo, some cash for nuts/bolts/washers to connect hot side/WGs, etc. How many depends, my wg's bolt on, yours may be v band or bolt on. Also some extra wire and electrical supplies in case the set up requires you to lengthen some wires, i have to lengthen IAT sensor and alternator wire since mine was relocated. Just some food for thought, hope this helps!
