                          thanks to all

a little story of my cars

                          I own the 68 camaro since 1988 ; at this time I found it(she) in a barn

the body was in good shape but engine was broken
                          I swap a 350 from a monte carlo and bought a muncie M21
the upholstery was dirty but just one hole and a crck on the driver seat
a guy , we met in paris , at a car show , give us a summitracing and a npd catalogs and we began to import the parts from USA via ups

the 350 is topped with a edelbrock performer rpm with his cam

I found a second camaro with a six in belgium it was a perfect twin of my first one ; same interior same options but a 6 and a powerglide this one was painted white .

                          see http://membres.lycos.fr/camaro68/page3.htm

sold this camaro in 1999 because I purchased the 67 chevelle
the chevelle is a 396 but the 396 was not here probably swap in a us car to do the quarter mile ( oh yes there are some quarter miles race here but it is very rare )
it takes me a long time to complete the car and find the title (here we call it : the grey card)

a friend of mine (originally the dodge charger belongs to him) and me have founded back the white camaro last year
crashed on the highway and decided to purchase it and go for a new restoration

very cool! I find it really interesting about the American cars in Europe, very cool to hear about how you found each and got the parts.
