    Hello everyone!!
Hope you all don't mind having another female around, I noted one other here....Anyways....I heard about and was given information about your site from another here (02hawk796) so here I am...

    Name: Kim
I live here in GB Wisconsin
29, married and no kids (besides the ones in the garage)
I love almost anything auto related. I love to detail, so I do that on the side for some people. I have always loved Firebirds so I was very excited when I found my current baby....
I love to drive so I look forward into entering the Road Racing world. I drag race and attend car shows as well....

I also post on (MFBA midwest fbody association, BCM, LS1.com, LS1tech and a couple Pontiac sites and Corvette sites (I plan on getting one in the future) and others....

Now on to my car; she is a MRM Trans Am A4
Basically stock for now until my warranty is up (so no major engine upgrading yet) But I have given her new shoes and hopefully very soon to get her lowered....nice gaps I have, I know.... I still need to get the basics this summer (lid and air) but I have a tower brace and some FRC's for show, 15%tint all around, debadged and a SLP "Loudmouth" for her voice, that's about it...I definitely look forward to working with this car.

I also have a 00 GTP RDFire Metallic (the show car) in the garage that I have worked on, Air (w/h cone) 3.4 pulley, tower braces in front and back, sway bar upgrade front and back, also a SLP "Loudmouth" exhaust, set of Eibachs (no struts, getting air) guages and pod, chrome engine braces and various other things....back seat removed, going through a major uphaul due to vandalism...stock polished 5stars for now (everyday), pre 97 wheels for racing, and 18inch chromies for show....

Of course I have to be doing this when I have to get ready for work, ha! Anyways, that's about it for now, I look forward to talking and maybe meeting all of you. Later..

          Thanks for the welcome

I haven't been on the tracks much lately due to time, traveling and especially since the local track here has shut down Weds night time trials, which sucks....
But anyways, I have managed low 14's for the GTP (14 even once) which is kinda sad, since I know she can get into the high 13's with a better driver ((I have to get more practice!!)) I really need to get the PCM changed as well, timing seems off sometimes....
In the TA I have managed high 13's with stock tires and engine, hopefully I can get lower with some drags and of course more practice

Both cars are so different, but very fun....it's just so strange to have the TA getting better gas mileage than the GTP hahaha Love to mod, but you pay the price!!

Glad to see you found it.

You mentioned engine mods and warranty. As I recall, having an LS6 upgrade with a GM Tech installing is supposed to retain the warranty because all of the parts are in fact OEM parts for that engine. I heard that the cost was about $650, which was the most cost efficient power increase. I can't guarrantee my info is right, but you might check into it if you hadn't already.

Hope to see you around again sometime. Most of the time I'm in G.B. I'm in one of my trucks.

I'll look into it, for right now I am enjoying the Bird as she is, saving money is always the hardest part... Especially when you want so much!! Still embarrassed in not having a lid at least...
