Hello,
I was referred to this site by an ex colleague who has multiple Camaros. I have a 1999 V6 Camaro that I used and abused during my 20s. I have a family now and was in the process of restoring the vehicle this summer. I got it fixed at a local shop (brake lines, engine fluids, new tires, new clutch). Was able to enjoy the car and T-tops for the majority of the summer but a few Fridays ago the engine failed on me. I took it back to the shop that did the work for me and they claim that the engine is finished (piston rod into the engine). I can do simple auto task (i.e. oil, tires, brakes). I am not equipped or patient enough to perform a complete engine replacement on my own. Looking for anyone who knows of a local shop or individual in their own garage who could help me either replace the engine or taken on the vehicle entirely.
Thanks,
Kris
