Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
After months of searching I just took ownership of a silver 1973 Camaro Z28. After a week of covered-transport time from Dallas to Michigan, and never seeing the Camaro with my own eyes, it finally arrived. I look forward to participating in local meets, events and cruises. As well as meeting alot of great F-body owners in the process. Glad to be here and hope to see some of you soon. Front.jpgEngine.jpgInterior.jpg

I WANT NOISE! SPEED! AN ENGINE THAT SHAKES MY INTERNAL ORGANS LIKE THEY GOT PARKINSON'S! I DONT WANT AN ENGINE THAT IS PARTIALLY POWERED BY MY LAPTOP BATTERY!

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
I'm at 25 and Schoenherr. I see you have the date/time of the FBody Meet and Greet in your signature. I'll put it on my calendar and maybe see of you there!

That's a great looking car! I hope you are happy with it's condition, and it had no "surprises" for you. My oldest brother would have loved that. He likes the early 2nd gen. cars with a 4 speed, but their values have made it hard to find what he wants within the price range he's looking for. I've screened a couple of cars up here for him, and we're still looking.
Dyno Dave, I am happy with the condition. The previous owner was very honest in his assessment of the car, and actually a little over critical, which is fine by me. I found the most inventory of these second gens is with consignment shops, but the price they ask, and without direct access to the owner, makes it hard to negotiate and get the "real" history of a 40+ year old car.
Good luck to your brother and don't hesitate to broaden your search to the southern states. There are a lot of reputable inspectors with boots on the ground to help ensure no surprises.
