  • checking in from Taylor

im not really new here but a returning member, been going thru a few really rough patches, me and my family were involved in a T-bone collision on beech daly and brest road in taylor on 6-30-15 we were driving a red dodge charger, and an 84 yr old woman was at fault.. She was traveling at 94mph and hit us. She passed away at the scene, my sons mother was transported to oakwood in dearborn with life threatening injuries and still residents in a rehab facility, she was hurt very badly and has had two srrokes at the age of just 21 which have left her in a wheelchair and having to relearn how to even use her cellphone and talk..

So i fell off the radar for awhile as i panicked and was scared out of my mind as i sat by her bed for over a month waiting for her to come out of her coma...

My son was only 2 weeks old at the time and he came out of the accident without a scratch! So im thankful for that...

But i guess im here to say im back. And im trying to get my mind off of things and start slowly getting back into my fbodys.. I just havent had much drive lately..

But thanks for letting me be here.

That's a hell of a journey you've been on ... I'd say you're doing good if you can get back into fbodies again. Keep on keep'in on and welcome aboard!

All here to help man, sorry to hear about the accident. I live just south of Taylor and I'm up there quite a lot at night. Usually meet at super china buffet on telegraph at night with a few buddies.

thanks guys, its been an on going battle with depression and taking care of my son who is turning 6 months old on the 10th, (man they get big FAST) but ive been slowly working on my motor and it seems to get my mind off things alittle when i have to be tedious with bolt specs and making sure things are done right, im just not looking forward to the motor install (pulled from the top)

im here to try and escape my depression, and my cars and son are what seems to help me the most, and im thankful for my parents who understand and babysit for me when i need my time to play with my cars,
