And I'm from Illinois. Can't remember now what drew me to this forum, but I have been checking in now and again to see what's up. I've been seeing Doug Warrens '02 Hot Rod Edition GMMG for sale on the interweb and the price it's listed at now has got me darn interested in it. Can anyone figure why it's still for sale? Thanks!

Takes a special buyer to purchase a 4th gens for that much money. You won't find a cleaner car with such great history but its still a lot for a 4th gen. Most 4th gen buyers have got the prices down so low its beyond dumb. No one wants to pay 7k for a clean car..they want 3500 beater cars.

The GMMG cars were still an aftermarket conversion and most lending places will not recognize the GMMG conversion to justify the higher prices.

Welcome to the site Ray! Would be awesome if someone in the MiFBody family could purchase Doug's car and keep it "in the fam."

I hadn't thought about the collector point of view or the fact that most financial institutions won't lend on it. I'm thinking about what I can sell and steal for it...
