Greetings everyone,
Though I have been a member here for a long time, I am here to introduce my real 3rd Gen Dream Come True.
I have located and secured the LAST ever 3rd Gen Pontiac used to portray KITT in a Knightrider show.
This particular car was used in the 2008 series pilot to show Knight 2000 mothballed in the lab where the new Mustang based K3000 was revealed for the first time.
The car is definitely a hard life lead stunt car, and was missing tons of little bits (still is). I am sure I will be looking for friendly advice, constructive criticism, and some hopefully easy to find bits of somebody's parts car... as the project comes along.
In the middle of rebuilding the motor now, and looking for some 88-89 vintage cold air intake stuff for the TPI, Hood hinges, and many little electric bits that were scavenged from the car while it sat before I found it (switches etc from along the bottom of dash, electric window switches, modules from the trunk).
