Hey everyone! My name is Nick Bachert and I am from the SW side of Grand Rapids. I am married father of 4 and I am 33. I have been on the Camaro scene since I was 17, I know every model inside out! But I have lots of dreams and lots to learn! I have been a backyard mechanic for 18 years, but I work in Manufacturing. My gorgeous Asian wife is a nurse and I love my life! I used to be into the ricers more than muscle cars (thanks Fast & the Furious!), but when I was 17 I saw a Camaro that just turned my head, and I haven't found one that I haven't liked since! I have previously owned an 89 RS 305, 91 RS V6, 90 RS 305, 94 Camaro V6, and now a 95 Camaro V6. All of my exes kinda discouraged the whole "car scene" so I was never really able to get anything going, but my new wife thinks I need to have something for myself, so she bought me this car! It needs work, but it was only $1000, it runs great and has only 133k on the ticker. For the rest of this year I plan on just taking care of the tune-up, and maintenance type items, but next summer its on! Future plans include new paint, Corvette blue, 18" Torque Thrust II wheels, V8 (now sure which yes, LS1, LS7?), complete interior swap to 98-02 Camaro or Bird, still undecided. Rear disc brake conversion, sound system, Ram-Air hood, 98-02 Camaro front end conversion, Berger panel, complete overhaul on the suspension.....many more!
Currently it supposedly has:
Flowmaster Cat-back
raised rear
lowered front
chip
hooker headers
new cam sensor
shift
and a few other things
from the looks of it there is just stock manifolds though, and he said true dual exhaust, it's cat-back though. Interior is all tore up and painted like crap. Most of the wiring is jury rigged and I have already started fixing that. Can't wait to show some progress! Looking to find couples to hang out with if there are any Christians in my area.
