Hello all. I've been a Pontiac enthusiast most of my life. I guess Smokey and the Bandit did it for me. My mother was driving the 77/78 Trans Am's new when I was a kid. I had a 79 formula back in my twenties. Now I have a 78 Trans Am 400, auto, nothing too spectacular, but a nice fun car for me. It is a good driving project more or less. Not a show car by any means. It would be nice to possible connect with others of similar interests in the local area. Looking forward to this group.

Well, Shawn beat me to the punch, but not only am I president of the MIFC, and a fellow 2nd gen owner (79 403 Auto), I ALSO happen to live in the Jackson area, out on Lansing Avenue. It hasn't gotten out much, finally just got it to stop overheating this year with a new radiator. I hope to get it out more this year and meet a few local people later this summer.Comment
