  • Hello from the Burbs

I thought I would intro myself, I'm new here but not to the Car hobby or to Pontiac, I bought my first Pontiac when I was 19, and I still have it. It was meant for a daily driver but some how became a garage queen. It's a 1978 Y88. I also run a FBody site but I won't get into that, lol I met Akodo at my place and he came when we did the GM Heritage tour back in the fall. I did the Auto shows for 25 years, we did the GM auto shows At the company I worked for, anyway I hope to stop in at the next meeting at Duggans or a show to meet a few.

Yes, I'll locate my pics. If you ever saw a gold T/A on Woodward with dog dish on it was me, I'm just tired of the flakes but I picked up a set of gold rally's at the Natz in August, no rust low mile and the gold ones are hard to find with the correct code, but it has rally's on now. I hear you guys meet at Duggans too, lol if you ever noticed a white Trans am spoiler hanging upstairs it's for the Trans Am Reaper. Looking fwd to the weather breaking here in the D, will it ever? I have a box of things to do to Goldie.

Essentially a reversed black/gold "Bandit" edition with gold being the primary color.

Idle tidbit...due to California environmental regulations, there were two different gold paints used from the Norwood and Van Nuys, with the Van Nuys gold ending up with a greenish tint to it...

Yes, lol it's a gold car with a camel interior, gold tops, dash, all the DH stuff they put on the black cars but look better on a y88 , the black cars were y82, and y84's. Solar Gold is the official name. It's the one in my avatar, I'll get on the computer and put a few pics up.

2years ago at the DreamCruise we had the whole lot at the new Pei Wei south of 13, we invited around 70 cars in, had a good time, maybe some here stopped in. I think we had all the Fbodys on Woodward in at one time.
Now I have Snowflakes, dig dish, and rally's to put on. Choices, lol
