Only if you live on a dirt road and drive in the mud...or actually use a pressure washer for, well, pressure washing...Originally posted by meissen View PostNice! I really need to get a pressure washer!
On another note, the car may be ready for dyno day...at least has an outside shot at it...trans may not be right, but time will tell...Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! Always wanted a pressure washer to be able to wash the aluminum siding on the house - being able to use it to foam up my car when I wash it is even better

Not sure I could ever use a pressure washer on a car...part of my job is to evaluate pressure washer testing for new materials.Originally posted by meissen View PostAlways wanted a pressure washer to be able to wash the aluminum siding on the house - being able to use it to foam up my car when I wash it is even better
It's not an easy test.
Especially for older paints and clearcoats.
Blast that aluminum siding all you want, but I would not advise it against older finishes...Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! As long as it's adjustable pressure I can't imagine the harm? Obviously you set it to a really low pressure so it's not blasting the paint off but people use pressure washers to wash their cars all the time.- Brian Meissen

I'll just go back to my default.
Water is dirty...

And if you want to see the acid rain results on the '89's T-tops, it will prove it to ya...granted, we do not live in New York, but...
Yes, I'm anal retentive...

I run a 5 micron filter on the outlet house to the power washer. No sediments in the water that I am going to freak about. Also the foam is way safer than bucket method and was mitt. Regardless it works wonders...
Z06 turned out OK this eve...

Heck yeah, it's the foam itself that loosens the dirt and gets it off the paint so that foam lance should work wonders.

Sticks to the dirt and sucks it right off the car!!!
Well I get my Double Din Radio today from Dennis at Double D... can not wait to get the Bezel installed as well once that comes in, for now I will roll around bezel'less!

Ignore the missing bezel... Waiting a few more weeks for the bezel...

And all that so I can hypermile the car...
This includes warm up from cold outside, no highway, never over 45mph. Basically Milford to Northville... Wixom road and beck road only. I think ill be able to get up to a 32mpg average. Need to go from the 235's down to 215's but traction sucks in 235's in rain even...

Last tank averaged 28.8mpg by hand calculations, so not so far off!
Bezel should be in within a few weeks, so happy as dash will look so much better....

Dash Command by Palmer Performance. One of the more robust apps I have used for OBDII dongle connection. Big fan of this. Ordered a second mount like this for the Marauder as well.
Now onto the suspension dilema on the car... Hope I get some good input in my other post... searching on LS1 tech.. just worried about V6 vs. V8 weight in front for springs...
