A stall/torque converter makes a huge difference. I believe people have shaved at least half a second off their quarter mile times on fully stock cars by only changing the torque converter.- Brian Meissen

Fuel economy doesnt really bother me considering it's not my daily driver, but I don't really have plans to go to a track or anything with it just cruising around and getting on it every now and then nothing to serious, so would it still be worth it? But it does feel like when I'm going at say for example 35 or 40 and step on it sometimes it feels as if I have a little bit of a dead zone where my car feels like it doesn't have a much power as it should like it needs to downshift a stall would get rid of this correct? And then say I was driving on the highway with it would that mean my rpms would stay a lot higher while keeping a steady speed of like 70 mph? Because I do have a little bit of a highway cruise inorder to get to Woodward! Thanks for the information though guys really appreciate it! I have been trying to get more information about stalls. My car is almost as old as me...

stalls help a lot in LS they have a crazy powerband! but depending on what kind of stall u get you can get a street one were u can still cruise at lower rpms from what i believe it just kinda acts like a clutch it rev's your engine and then locks into place when it reaches the size stall you getOriginally posted by Bradley View PostFuel economy doesnt really bother me considering it's not my daily driver, but I don't really have plans to go to a track or anything with it just cruising around and getting on it every now and then nothing to serious, so would it still be worth it?
