Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum but certainly not the F Body Community. First of all, you have an excellant site so far! I've seen quite a few features that I like here, that aren't on some others, so good job. I am known as 1BadMoFo on all sites.

I live in Jackson, drive a 2000 Red SS. There isn't a whole lot left on the car that is stock, outside from the interior of the car.

It has MTI Stage 2 heads, G1 Cam, U/D pulley, Lt's, rocker arms, intake, etc etc...

The suspension is completely re done as well.

It has 18" Cragar SS's (the real ones)

And the best part is the True Duals.

Speed Inc tuned it and it drives awesome once you let it find idle. It put down 429 RW HP and 401 TQ.

I am a new member to the WMCC even though I've known most of them for a few years...I've simply been too busy to join.

I'm really looking forward to the Hot Rod Power Tour next year since it goes right by my hometown!

Here are a couple of pics of my ride, as well as one of my favorites from this years Camarofest. I had never talked to the Fbod father before, but knew who he was. I wasn't a member of any club at that time either. I just walked up to him down at Depot Town and started talking. He came over and talked to me about my car for about 45 minutes. We then went back to the show, talked for another 3 hours. I picked his brain about everything, it was pretty cool. He wound up taking us (my 2 buds, and our spouses) in back for a private viewing of the car and tons of photos...I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

THanks, I'm trying to find some pics of the engine bay right now, not too successful. Most of the pics I take are of other cars. It is not bad though, every bolt in the thing has been replaced, I've painted the side walls and radiator support, etc.

I knew I had some and I found them, I took these after I put on the polished valve covers.

looks good, what sized injectors are you running with that big rail?

Actually, they are still stock. And if you recall, the 2000 had the smallest of all the stock injectors, I think it was 26.4 lb per hour. I had some 36 lb per hour on me when I went to get the dyno tune, but it only reached 90% utilization at like 6000 RPM's, and I rarely take it up that high. And then even if I did, they weren't maxed out yet.

So I sold the ones I took with me.

Welcome to the site, Scott! I remember seeing your car at Superfest, very nice! Love the engine bay detail work, you've definitely put a lot of time and thought into the detailing of your engine bay!

Thanks, I appreciate that, and you have nice cars also. All too often people look and say, "some chrome, big deal"

But they miss the things that really set it off.

if you check out my "members garage" link thing, it has all the specifics, for now it's just a heads/cam car but there's gonna be more shortly so i am opting for an oversized fuel system for now so that i don't have to replace it all again when i start to make some serious power
