And man, it is all about the peolpe you meet and the stories they have. Now that I'm older I really notice this.

I'm really excited for the BBOMG event to be in Detroit - I've always wanted to participate but couldn't make the drive to Oshawa due to conflicts with other (more local) shows.

Do you guys have an area set up already for where you plan to meet for the event?

We are working on all those details as I type this. I hope to have hotel/banquet info for you before Christmas. I will always be checking in here so I'll definitely make sure you are all kept in the loop!

Absolutely! BBOMG is owned by all the participants and so we have lots of folks who are involved. Scott and myself organize the event but we have dozens of people who help out (there are no official titles here). Jason and Chris have been great supporters as well as sponsors. Jason is also our website guy!

The only way I figured it out was by going to bbomg.com and hovering over the tab in Chrome to see the full title of the webpage, otherwise I agree Nate it's not blatantly spelled out anywhere, there's not even an explanation of what type of event BBOMG is on the official site. BBOMG - Buyers and Builders Ontario Meet & Greet event. It's basically a "homecoming" for 5th gen buyers to come back to the Oshawa plant and get tours of the facility and meet the team that works at the plant.

Edit: The picture on the Facebook page has a group holding a sign that spells out BBOMG.

Edit Edit: BBOMG is also spelled out in the footer on the BBOMG.com website. Now it's just like an easter egg hunt!

None of those links say what BBOMG stands for.
