Here's a few old pics from my last project. I built a LQ4 in my bsmt., then dollied it up and outside to install the heads. I had it in a 86 Notch injected with a TH400 w/3500 stall. It was a pretty nice set up. I redid my truck harness and used a Corvette filter for my fuel regulation. I also hand ported my L92's myself. Then came out pretty nice too for my first time porting heads.

Now I have a 99 Bird that I picked up for $650. I picked up some gently used LS3 pistons and rods for a steal. I cleaned them up in the parts washer then blasted them in an aluminum blaster before putting them in the wash again. Now the LQ4 is tore back down and plans to bore it to a iron 6.2L over this winter. I also have a 4l60 that needs to be built. The Bird is a Y87 RPO so it came with a factory posi and 3.42's. I plan to leave them there for the summer, unless I break them first. I also picked up a Ram Air hood off the Bay for $400. Got the Trans Am front bumper and rear hatch from local sellers. All I need exteriorwise is the rear bumper. I have the 3800 V6 out already. Just waiting on spring to start reassembly. So thats my project in a nut shell!
