Have had thoughts for some time about buying a 1998-2002 Camaro to play with. I always liked these years and am currently searching for a roller or a V-6 that needs engine work or has a popped engine. My plan is find something not thrashed and put a 6.2L in it and let it eat. I like hard tops so that is what I am currently looking for. Like plain jane cars, no power anything, crank windows and no power locks. I just like them that way. I do not have a lot of experience with EFI and OBDII, but I know a little and have some good resources to draw off of. If you know of any good 1998-2002 Camaro's available, let me know. I thought i had one yesterday and missed it by 15 minutes. I look forward to finding my car and doing some late nights in the shop.

). That aside, it's going to be challenging to find a Z28 without power options as, while they were technically "options", 99%+ of Z28s made came with those options. So today, they are pretty rare and coveted cars. And when you do find one, it's likely been ordered with the 1LE option, which was used for GMs loophole for SCCA road racing cars (Z28s, Formulas, and Trans Ams).
