Just got back into the F-Body ownership mode this summer and bought a decent 2000 Z28 coupe 6 spd for my birthday. Life's too short not to have fun! Having owned 7 Camaro's over the years it's fun to be driving one again. The first one I owned was a 67 Z28 butternut yellow MO car I owned for 9 years and still kick myself for selling it. At the same time I owned and sold a new 73 RS auto, then a new 74 Z28 4 spd, next a used 73 Z28 4 spd it was cool owning 2 Camaro's at one time but then we had our first son and the 67 was sold 
I drifted away from F-bodies for 16 yrs till my son wanted something better than his VW Bug so along came a nice 81 Z28 but 4 tickets later it had to go! Then 10 yrs ago I got the itch and got another 67 this time a blk RS-SS 406 sb auto that I soon pulled all apart and put in a 4 spd and lots of new parts it was sweet. That one pulled 400 ft tq at the rear wheels what a ride. But then life got in the way my wife got sick and it had to go. Now the 2000 is ready for mods so far its received a Magnaflow cat back and a SLP lid with K&N filter come spring the SS hood and other goodies will go on it
