  • Shift slider guide for '67 Firebird

My name is Dewey Franklin and I have a 67 Firebird 400 4 speed MT and I'm needing help with the shift slider. I have attached two pictures to help explain my dilemma. What is the shift slider retainer supposed to look like? Will I have to make a rubber support for my slider? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

You have the shift slider retainers (Classic Industries W-340A) which screw or rivet on to the bottom of the shifter plate. Do you have the shift plate slider (W-374) to complete the assembly?
