    There is no special VIN designation for a '82 Pace Car...it will look like any other Camaro VIN...

    However...

    Post up the Paint Code and Trim Code numbers.

    That would help confirm things.

    FWIW, the Pace Cars had a special bracket on the radiator support, and if you can find the build sheet, the RPO for a Indy Pace Car is Z50.

        Sweet car! Sweet clock! Third gens had some weird options. My old ta had an overhead console that had this dial that said "celebration time"
