oh yeah get the turbo kit from pace fabricating, i rode in the car at 7lbs of boost and i tell you what, its fast, and thats what stage 1 is pushing out. And he's got a deal on it, go the the advertising section and look in there, price includes installation and tuning.

Also, just for reference, there are more than a few people who have run turbos on their 3.8 Series II V6 F-Bodies that are running some very impressive numbers. If you are looking for pure speed, go turbo. If you just want some more power to play around with, may I suggest a cat-back exhaust system, a decent cold air intake, NGK plugs, synthetic fluids are usually good for a few ponies, underdrive pulleys, and a little bit of weight reduction is never a bad idea. Also, I think your car has a steel driveshaft. . . I replaced my stock one with an aluminum single-peice driveshaft that made some great improvements over stock, I recommend that highly. Also, get some good plug wires. Replace the cats with high-flow cats when you do the exhaust upgrades. I have a few tricks up my sleeve, as does just about anyone else here. If you have any questions about modding your V6, I'm pretty well connected in the V6 F-Body world, so feel free to contact me through PM's, I'd love to help you out. Hope that helps some!Nick H.

depends on how much $$ you're looking to spend, but turbo's or forced induction for that matter are always sweet1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

um, please explain your sitings since the fastest street 3.8l fbody ran a 11.8, and is the only one that has got 11s. She used a powerdyne supercharger and nitrous. Stock engine.Originally posted by 06camarodudeHell yeah. I've seen some simple turbo 3.8 'maros and 'birds running 11's and lower on the track . . .
The fastest turbo car ran a 12.0 and now has a blown built engine.
Also nick, our 3.8l cars are underdriven in the pulley department already so getting any would be pointless.
Anyways, first things to do to a 3.8l fbody are exhaust, intake, and gears. Those will get you scooting pretty good. Also the 97 fbody came with a 2 piece driveshaft that ways more than my snowmobile, so dump that for an aluminum take-off driveshaft from a ls1.
Then once that stuff is taken car of you can move on to tuning your car either with a mail order tune or hp tuners. I personally own hp tuners and love it.
What budget do you have to work with here?------------------------------------------

2005 Malibu - Stock, anyone have a ecotec factory gm supercharger for me? lol
