            Welcome!

Almost sounds like a Vac. leak.
To search out a Vac. leak get some starting fluid and just mist it around the intake and Vac. lines.
If she picks up in idle check that area and repair it.

be sure that ur injectors are seated all the way into the intake. I used to have a 3.4 that i rebuilt n when i got it back together it was idling around 3k n i found it to be one of the injectors in the rear hadnt been pushed all the way in

go by a can of carb clean n just shoot small spurts of it around the base of the intake, on vacuum hoses, and around ur injectors n see if it affects ur idle at all. do it in small spurts so if the idle jumps ull know the area of where its leakin

for ya - not familiar enough with the 3.4Ls to be able to help. Put your finger on the vacuum line on the intake if you can reach it and see if the idle goes down. If it does that's your only problem. If it doesn't, you might have more leaks. Carb cleaner will definitely help pinpoint it - I'm a firm believer in that.
