  • Geezer Racing Running in Ohio next weekend -200mph firebird?

    Well,
I see that I already messed it up. I found this forum while searching the Ohio Mile. One of your members asked if anyone was a member of the ECTA - so i jumped in and invited all of you to come and see us at the Hot Rod Top Speed Challenge in Wilmington, Ohio next weekend. Now, I'll post an intro:We're a team of Michigan Geezers that has run our Geezer Express '87 Firebird in North Carolina and Maine. Check us out at 200mphfirebird.com or put geezer express racing into your browser. Our newest Firebird, the Geezer 2, is a 1982 with a Baker Engineering 555. Street legal but, it is one bad mutha.

Here is an early dyno pull:

        Hello Dave,
        Good call.
Brian Acton is the driver of the Geezer 2. He'll be shaking it down at Martin today.
        Thanks.

We'll be putting a wing on the car. We were the first door car into the 200 club. Best speed was 213 - we have serious aero work to do if we want to reach the car's potential. Baker Engineering built us a beast!!!

Cool - I knew about them doing the tuning but didn't realize they built engines too.
