Welcome Aaron! Interesting to see a coworker on here. I gotta be honest, the first time I saw your car at work I texted a few people about the "bright purple metallic z28" in the parking lot

Also, if you didn't see the thread yet, Sean is selling a set of a pacesetter headers for a pretty good price.

More pictures? I am assuming the one I saw posted on Nate's Facebook was of your car. I also love the car one of the few purple cars I would drive!

Thanks all for the warm bubbly welcome! It's great meeting all you guys/girls and finding some common ground. I had no clue Bright Purple Metallic would be a hit -- I thought it'd be a target for rotten tomatoes due to the un-manly color. Since many seem interested in it, let me tell you a few basic things. I bought it from the original owner with all historical documentation. The paint is original. Hardly any mods: SLP Skip Shift Eliminator, 1LE driveshaft, Camaro SS 17 x 9 wheels, K&N Filtercharger. And I switched from Mobile 1 and Fram to Amsoil and Wix last weekend. My #1 goal for the car is preservation of the original appearance -- i.e., no tint, decals, paint, aftermarket wheels, etc. I am 100% dedicated to keeping all exterior components GM or nothing. I love the way GM did this generation that I've always wanted it looking bone stock.

I am truly impressed by the talent many of you possess. LS1 swaps, amateur racing, cams, headers on LT1s, transmission swaps -- seems someone out there's done it all in our pack of FBods. It's very encouraged and motivational to see you all get your hands dirty and smoke some tires. See you all very soon. Thanks for the ride Joel -- your mid-range torque is insane! The Grape Ape will return...

You're all too kind. Love those vanity plates y'all created. They would be hilarious on the car. I can't wait to get out there again. I'm also eager too see Will's '77 again -- that bad mother should've been in a C.H.i.P.s episode or Rockford Files! I have a soft spot for '70s FBods despite never owning one. What do you say we try raising money for some vintge 8-tracks to jam in Will's ride? Cheers all, see you very soon.

Raise money for 8-tracks? Hell, you don't have to do that! What kind do you want? Somehow I inherited a box full of them -- PM me if you guys want/need any.
