So this is my first post for MIfbody.com, Im Josh ( or Yoshi if you want ) and I have a 97' Z28 30th anny edition (without the paint job). I used to post over at ProjectAspec.com but wanted something a little more F-body focused....so here I is.

As far as me Ive owned my Z28 for about 4 years now ( I bought the car after I got home from japan ) and I have been modding it since I bought it ( when I can afford to ) and got into street racing ( I know, I know, Mifbody.com doesnt endorse it ) Ive started to try it the legal way at the drag strip ( Im going to Milan the 16th ) and its not the same but I suppose its better than nothing. On a side note alot of times at work I have nothing better to do but troll around the internet looking for unique F-body stuff so If your looking for something ask me because I can probably find it or have already found it.

Now for what you really car about..the car.

    1997 chevy camaro Z28 30th anny edition

sorry pics are a bit old

    mods list:

    Engine and drivetrain:

    SLP cold air intake
Trickflow metal elbow w/o resonator tube
    BBK twin 58mm throttle body
    Intake ported and polished
LT4 hot cam kit ( nice streetability but sometimes I wish I had gone a bit bigger)
Heads ported and polished, valves unshrouded and seats replaced for larger valves, deck cut just a bit to make up for unshrouding the valves.
Manley Xtreme duty valves 2.0 intake and 1.55 exhaust
MAC headers and CAT delete y-pipe ( I need a new y-pipe because mines all dinged up, any body know a nice true dual kit for my car?)
MAC cat back kit ( replaced the MAC muffler with a Flowmaster 80 series just last month)
Spec stage 3 clutch ( this is a great clutch)
Hawk brake pads in the front

    Exterior:

Carbon fiber badges and bumper letter inserts ( Rksport makes these but I got mine directly from their supplier since he'll make them in any color he's able and hes cheaper)

2" cowl hood from LM performance

    Interior:

mostly home done paint work ( I love krylon fusion paint!!!) and some more of those carbon fiber badges

    Sounds:
Alpine 9815 Cd player ( love this thing even If I cant always figure it out)

Boston acoustic component set in the front and pioneer three ways in the back ( hoping to replace those with a alpine type x component set soon)

JL 300/4 powering the main speakers
2 12" coustic subs ( there good but I want something high excursion )
2 pioneer 800w max mono channels for the subs
3 farad cap...I forget what brand

Mods I want (need) to do soon

Larger fuel injectors and a PCM tune ( I need these bad! my poor 24lb'ers cant keep up anymore and the PCM has no clue just what in the 7 hells my engine is doing with the mods its got.)

Rims and tires ( my tires suck and it show at the dragstrip )

new speaks and subs ( not sure what subs yet)

Subframe connectors ( oh god do I need a set of these, but I cant decide if I want to spend the extra cash on the SLP X-braces or just go with BMR's boxed sub frames....any opinions?)

    Long term mods I want:

    ....EVERYTHING!

welcome! my name's matt! nice lookin car!

i don't know if LS1 and LT1 injectors are interchangable, but my injectors are the 29# and i'm maxing them out with my current setup and about to get some 60# injectors. if LS1 injectors fit your car i'll sell 'em when i get my new ones. 29# are good to about 421 hp ask me how i know! I also know a pretty good tuner that does LT1 tunes as well!

anyways, nice to see a modded LT1 around here! enjoy!

I was thinking about it but the only problem is my front end is a little dinged up ( my step dad hit it with his quad at about 40 m.p.h.....it's a long story). So if you dont mind me showing up with a little body damage then sure I'll go.

Yeah there interchangable, injectors are pretty much universal unless its a import. So are they good to 421 bhp or 421 rwhp? As far as the tune I was gonna go through Ion soltan at www.madz28.com but I would much rather go through a local guy with a dyno if the price is good so let me know!

Thanx for the complements on the car BTW
