Hey everyone. My name is Dan. I come from a little city called Commerce which is near Novi. After winter, im planing to get a Z28 so I can have some fun on Woodward and also have something to work on. Right now, im taking classes at OCC for being a mechanic. I have the basics down but I still need a little more practice. Anyways, that's a little bit about me. By the way, I joined this site a few days ago and its AMAZING!

Lots of people on here can help you with info on 3rd gens and what to look for.
If you're looking for a 4th gen though, look for a 94-97. The LT1 engines in the 93's aren't the best start with as they run speed density tunes. In 94 they switched to using a MAF sensor. 95 is said to be the best all-around year for the LT1 cars. Now if you really want to make more power, look for a 98 or newer model (LS1 engine).2000 Trans Am l 1967 Firebird
