    Welcome!

You have an LS1, you don't need to do anything

What does it have currently? Auto or 6-speed?

Welcome to MiFBody! Yeah, with your engine you are already in pretty good shape. Bolt-ons are always the cheapest things to start with, and I'd vote for a K&N filter, with some additional openings cut into the bottom of your air box to allow freer air flow, and then look at getting your car some headers and a better exhaust. Headers may not necessarily be dirt cheap, but anything you can do to improve the engine's ability to breathe will give you the quickest gains, and it's less expensive than having to get inside your engine.

Oh, and we need pics of your ride!

Welcome to the site. This hobby costs money, but you can do it in moderation. Just depends on how much you want to do.
I have been working on my Camaro for over 25 years now and this winter I want to give it a new make over too.

no buildin necessary, just mash the pedal on the right...it'll only cost you some gas
